After spending two years behind the scenes, mostly developing his style, niche, and music biz IQ, he released his first project in the summer of 2007 titled The Warning (EP).  The entire album was founded by his 3Fingers LLC Company, which he created in 2006.  In support of this album, El Prezidino proceeded to book his own shows.  This allowed him to perform at many places in the Washington D.C. area like Legends Nightclub, and along side DJ Frankie Cutlass at the Potomac Job Corps facility.  He’s performed in clubs from Silver Springs, MD to clubs in Huntington, WV.  Though focusing on regional exposure (in the Washington D.C. area), El Prezidino has fans as far out as Nevada and Arizona.  So when he was booked for a show in Pacific Grove, CA in December 2007, this came to no surprise to El Prezidino and 3Fingers.

In 2008, it doesn’t seem like El Prezidino will be slowing down anytime soon. He’ll be releasing his second project Me or Nothing for no charge to the consumer on March 18th. This free album will focus almost exclusively on the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. area, collectively known as the DMV. He’s planning on releasing a mixtape in the summer and his first full length LP in fall 2008.  Though his first project didn’t reach the lofty goals he set for himself, nonetheless some industry executives did take notice, as one independent distributor offered El Prezidino a distribution deal.

El Prezidino has dedicated himself to destroying the stereotype of current hip-hop artists.  Being labeled as negative music, he’s poised to use hip-hop as a tool to change lives and inspire.  His mainstream appeal mixed with his street swagger and delivery, along with his heavy conscious and witty word play, provoked Serch (Executive Producer of Nas’ Illmatic, music producer extraordinaire) to call El Prezidino “Kanye West mixed with Jay-Z….but he has his own inflections.”
