About El Prezidino

El Prezidino is an emerging hip-hop artist in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area.  The South Philadelphia born lyricist, who grew up in Virginia Beach, is beginning to build a buzz about his “positive” and mainstream appealing music.  Deciding to “inspire” the masses through his music, El Prezidino is starting to receive regional and national recognition for his unwavering ability to create soulful and heartfelt hip-hop music that’s clean, yet edgy.  This is why Urb.com (the website for Urb magazine) has called him “hip-hop’s righteous superhero”, which landed El Prezidino on Urb’s list of next artist to watch. 

Before he recorded is first song, El Prezidino (Demetrius Doss) was a star in the making at a much different career.  The 6”4 hip-hop artist was a college football wide receiver at Marshall University.  He may be the only hip-hop artist in the history of the genre to play major college football alongside two first round drafted quarterbacks, Chad Pennington (NY Jets) and Byron Leftwich (Jacksonville Jaguars).  By this point, being no stranger to the spotlight, El Prezidino took his football skills to the professional level playing one year of indoor football in Evansville, IN.  But after being nominated an all-star in his first year of professional football, he left the gridiron and touchdown catches for microphones and top notch studios.
